New Volunteer Opportunities at the Center
As the Center starts preparing for our opening in May, we’re excited to announce some new volunteer opportunities! If you’re looking for a way to get connected to community, enjoy meeting people, and like helping others feel welcome and included, these are the perfect opportunities for you!
Center Team Volunteers
We’re looking for volunteers who would like to be available to greet people and provide resources and referrals during the Center’s drop-in hours on Tuesdays-Fridays from 4:00pm-9:00pm and Saturdays from 10:00-3:00p. If you’re interested in joining the Center’s Drop-In Team, please email us at [email protected] and let us know which days or hours you’d like to volunteer! (Please note, final drop-in hours might change due to volunteer availability).
Health and Wellness Ambassadors!
Do you love promoting health and wellness?! The Center will initially be hosting Health & Wellness partners on the 3rd Thursdays of the month from 4:00-7:00pm. If you’re interested in being the point person and the Center’s host for these events, this is the perfect opportunity for you! Time commitment is likely around 5-10 Hours per month. LGBTQ+ Up All Night Hosts
Coffee, board games, karaoke, foosball, piano – oh my! LGBTQ+ Up All Night is the Center’s weekly late night community connection for LGBTQ+ folks and allies 18+. Slated to be held on Fridays from 10:00pm-2:00am, it’s a perfect opportunity for other night owls who enjoy meeting people and helping to make sure others feel safe, welcome and included. We’re looking for 3-4 LGBTQ+ Up All Night Hosts who would be willing to sign up for 1 or 2 Fridays per month.
Outreach Team
Tables, tents and talking! Are you someone who likes to attend events and talk to people about the LGBTQ+ community? Do you enjoy meeting with other businesses and organizations? We’re looking for volunteers who would like to be a part of promoting the Center and our community at local events and activities. Events and opportunities may vary from month to month.
